It’s Not Our Intention To Defend The Naira – Cardoso Speaks On Foreign Reserves

 

The Central Bank Governor, Yemi Cardoso, has addressed concerns regarding the decline in Nigeria’s foreign reserves.

 

He clarified that the CBN under his leadership does not have plans to depend the Naira and emphasised that Nigeria has financial obligations that must be met.

Cardoso also mentioned that $600 million entered the country yesterday.

He was speaking with foreign journalists.
