18-year-old Nigerian boy scores 9As WAEC, 347 in JAMB, emerges high school best-graduating student



18-year-old Isa Salmanu scored an outstanding mark of 347 over 400 in his JAMB, distinctions in all the subjects he sat for in the WAEC examination and he emerged as the best graduating student of Premier Academy,Abuja in Nigeria.


Isa Samunu graduated as the overall best-graduating student of Premier Academy, Lugbe Abuja in Nigeria. He studied at Premier Academy on SNEPCo/NNPc (Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company )Cradle to Career Scholarship since 2017 when he finished his primary education.


Isa scored a remarkable A1 in all the nine subjects he sat for in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination. He also achieved an exceptional feat earlier in the year when he scored an impressive 347/400 points in the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board Examination.


The Premier Academy management described his achievement as the best so far since the inception of the school.He was also awarded the overall best performance in some of his core subjects which include; English, Mathematics, Computer, and Economics.


Musa’s Father, Isa Salmanu shared his son’s achievements on Twitter, stating that he shared his success so as to motivate other students like him.


“I’m a happy dad. My son, Isa Salmanu made us proud. I was tempted to just keep calm and allow this slide but on a second thought, I felt the lesson would be lost and those that need to be motivated won’t be,” he said.


Isa Salmanu expressed his gratitude to the SNEPCo/NNPc, stating that his son has been motivated to study Computer Science at University since then. He also added that Musa is open to any school willing to give him the scholarship to fulfill his dream.
